        RF SPIN

        MEASUREMENTS & CALIBRATION

From Precision Measurements to Seamless Data Access

Navigating the complexities of antenna technology requires a foundation built on meticulous measurements and calibration to secure unmatched product quality.

        Mastering Accuracy in Antenna Production

At RF SPIN, precision is not just a practice but a principle that guides every step of our manufacturing process. Antennas are subjected to detailed inspections to maintain precision, particularly after undergoing surface treatments, cementing our commitment to delivering products with superior accuracy.

Calibrating Antennas in Our Advanced Anechoic Chamber

        Excellence in Parameters and Performance

Each antenna we manufacture undergoes a thorough calibration process in our advanced anechoic chambers. High-frequency antennas are calibrated within our 1-meter chamber, capable of handling up to 125 GHz. Lower frequency bands are measured in a larger, 3-meter chamber.

This ensures each unit meets its specific frequency range with unmatched accuracy and reliability, adhering strictly to technical specifications. Additionally, we extend our expert measurement services to customer-supplied antennas, reinforcing our commitment to excellence.

        Measured parameters of our antennas

        • VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio): Indicates the antenna’s efficiency in transmitting power.
        • Gain: Measures the increase in signal power provided by the antenna (three antenna method).
        • Antenna Factor: Assesses the antenna’s effectiveness in converting electromagnetic fields into electrical signals.
        • Cross Polarization: Evaluates the antenna’s ability to minimize unwanted polarization, ensuring signal clarity.
        • Beamwidth: Determines the width of the main lobe of the radiation pattern, indicating how well the antenna can direct its signal.
        • Radiation Patterns: The graphical representation of the radiation properties of an antenna, depicted as a function of space.

RF SPIN Antenna Portal: Data at your fingerprints

Each RF SPIN antenna connects to our Antenna Portal via a unique QR code, offering quick access to precise calibration data and specifications. The portal allows customers to download critical parameter datasets in XLS format for precise system adjustments. This functionality enhances accuracy and ensures optimal antenna performance, providing customers with confidence in their system’s precision.
